While this isn’t strictly Glucomate related, we’ve recently gotten our hands on the iPhone 15 Pro and one of our favourite new features is its Action Button.
So, how are we using it?
The Dexcom G6 app (at least the mmol/L version available in Australia) has offered a Shortcut that will tell you your current blood glucose, along with the trend, and also visually show a chart with the last 3 hours of readings on it. It’s great for quickly viewing this data, or perhaps when you can’t reach your phone but can more easily say, “Hey Siri, what’s my glucose?”
The Shortcut becomes even more powerful when programmed to run from the Action Button of an iPhone 15 Pro. One press, from wherever you are on iOS, will tell you your current blood glucose. Faster and easier than switching apps!
We like it so much we made a short video about it:
While you’re here… We make Glucomate, the best app for recording, and later analysing, blood glucose levels on your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. You can download Glucomate on the App Store.
