View your blood glucose as a complication on your Apple Watch

Glucomate allows you to add a complication to your Apple Watch to view your most recent blood sugar reading

Complications are one of the best ways to view information at a glance on your Apple Watch. We’ve recently heard from a lot of customers suggesting complications be the next thing we add to Glucomate and we’re pleased to let you know we’ve listened.

The complications recently added to Glucomate allow you to view the latest sugar reading in HealthKit on your device. The complication will also show an arrow indicating if the reading is in range, low, or high, along with the time of the reading so you are always be aware of how current the reading is. Please note that depending on how your readings are sent to your phone/watch, your device may need to be unlocked for the complication to update.

So, how do we add a Glucomate complication?

  1. Long press on the current watch face on your Apple Watch, and tap the “Edit” button at the bottom of the screen
  2. Tap the complication space where you want to add a Glucomate complication
  3. Navigate the list of apps until you find Glucomate. You may have to tap the back button before you find it.
  4. Select your desired Glucomate complication
  5. You’ll see a preview of the complication in its new slot. If you’re done;
  6. Press the digital crown and you’ll arrive back on your watchface, with a shiny new Glucomate complication in place

That’s it! You now have a Glucomate complication on your Apple Watch face.
