Blood glucose data is highly personal. But that doesn’t mean it should never be shared! It’s quite common for people to want to share their data. Be it to show off a good period, complain about a bad one, share it with a loved one or healthcare professional, or even just as a private personal record.

Using Glucomate, you can share your favourite data points using a new image share feature. Think of it as a glorified screenshot. Sure, you could take a screenshot in the app and share that, but using the share feature has a few key advantages:

  1. Glucomate gives you the option to select from a range of beautiful background gradients
  2. It also allows you to add some text to the image. This may be to provide some context around the reading or stat, or just to add how you’re feeling at the time of sharing the image.

Almost any card with a chart on it that you see in Glucomate can be shared. As can the most recent reading. We’ll show you how to export both in this post. Keep in mind that it’s your personal data in the image that’s being shared – so be careful what you do with it, or who you share it with!

First up, how to share a chart with data on it. This can be done from either the Insights or the History tab.

  4. Customise the image to your liking (background, text, etc.)
  5. Tap “Share image” and share it with whatever service you wish!
